Mike Hobday
Founder, Principal
Mike is a seasoned leader in AI and financial services with a track record of building and scaling innovative technology businesses.
As former CEO and board member of AntWorks Group, he pioneered the use of GenAI, NLP, and ML to transform document processing for global enterprises, with a strong presence in North American financial services and insurance. In 2023, he launched Insurants AI, a subsidiary dedicated to modernising commercial insurance through pre-configured AI solutions.
Alongside his executive career, Mike is an entrepreneurial investor, non-executive director, and trusted board adviser. He holds an MBA in Financial Services, is a Fellow of both the Royal Society of Arts and the Chartered Institute of Management, and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He is also a Freeman of the City of London and a member of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants.
